By now, 5 to 11-year-olds can now get vaccinated for COVID-19 and there are 4 ways to seek vaccinations and we encourage everyone to advantage of the various sources for vaccinations: 1) pediatrician or primary care provider; 2) local retail pharmacies; 3) govaxmoco.com for appointments at DHHS sites; 4) MCPS is providing appointment only vaccinations at some sites. Due to limited appointment availability, information about how to register for an appointment at weekday vaccinations sites are being shared with school communities by each school's respective principal. For more information, visit MCPS' website at https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/Coronavirus/Vaccinations/

Keep in mind that two-thirds of the doses for children 5 to 11 will be provided by pharmacies, pediatricians and other healthcare providers, and about one-third will be provided by the health department. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the numerous sources that are providing vaccinations.

Thanks!
