The Horizon Foundation and Chinese American Parent Association are jointly hosting the screening of "Each and Every Day" on Monday, 10/18 at 6pm. This documentary explores youth mental health through the eyes of nine participants who have attempted suicide or have struggled with suicidal thoughts. They share not only challenges, but also their recoveries and hard-won wisdom about what made their life worth living.
Don't forget to join us for the post-film discussion on 10/18 at 7:05 PM with Emily Her, a recent graduate and author who will share her lived experience; Dawn Duignan, LCSW-C and local mental health provider; and Dr. Shobhit Negi, child and adolescent psychiatrist and clinical director for the juvenile section at the Circuit Court of Baltimore City. See attached flyer for details.
