AAJC has been working with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to provide guidance on how to make broadband internet more accessible to low-income Asian Americans. With your help we have created in-language materials in Burmese, Tagalog, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese (Simplified), Korean, and Hmong. The fact sheets and the social media materials are available on our website and in a google drive folder respectively. Please note the Korean, Hmong, and Thai social media translations are currently being updated and will be added to the google drive shortly. Many thanks to our friends at EMBARC Iowa and New Mexico Asian Family Center (NMAFC) for assisting with proofreading!
In effort to get more communities connected to broadband internet, AAJC will be participating in an EBB week of action THIS WEEK, from September 27th – October 1st. During this week we will be reaching out to community organization and student groups in order to get more people signed up for this program.
