CULTURAL ART TOUR NO OCEAN BETWEEN US: ASIAN DIASPORA in ART of the AMERICAS Commissioners & Friends
World Artists' Experiences will present, via Zoom, a cultural tour of South America, titled “No Ocean Between Us” at 12:30 p.m. September 21.
The presenter will be Adriana Ospina, Executive Director of the American Arts Museum of Organization of the American States. She will take guests through the exhibit at the American Arts Museum and explain how immigrants contribute to the arts, daily life, languages, ideas, values and beliefs.
She will explain further how this contemporary multi-faceted culture of Latin America and the Caribbean flows from the cultures of Japan, China, India and Indonesia brought by the immigrants.
