Special Invitation: Virtual Preview of Nisei Soldier Exhibit to Screen on Saturday, November 21
NVN is pleased to announce a special screening of a virtual preview of the Nisei Soldier exhibits for veteran families, friends, and community members on Saturday, November 21, 2020. Presented in collaboration with the National Museum of the U.S. Army, the preview event, which was recorded for WWII veterans in July, features an introduction to the Museum by the Director Tammy Call and an overview of the Nisei Soldier Experience in the Museum galleries presented by Paul Morando, Chief of Exhibits. Special remarks are given by General Eric K. Shinseki. The event also includes the showing of the Emmy award winning "Sadao Munemori: An American Hero" presented by David Ono, ABC7 News Anchor.
The 45 minute event will be shown via YouTube on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10:00am Hawaii, 12:00pm PT, 1:00pm MT, 2:00pm CT and 3:00pm ET.
