The COVID pandemic has brought a broad impact on the global job market. The changes in the career ecology and the work environment have brought challenges to the job-hunting environment. The demand for international talents, the government's investment in the private sector, and the continuous innovation of private enterprises have created new opportunities for the job market. Overall, the job market during the post-epidemic period is characterized by both crises and opportunities.

Adhering to the concept of integrating resources and serving the community, The Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (CCACC), in partnership with OCA-DC, will hold the 2021 CCACC Asian American Career Fair on October 21 Thursday to create job opportunities for job seekers in the community.

Due to the COVID situation, the career fair will be hosted virtually through Zoom. As one of the biggest community organizations in Montgomery County, CCACC will provide the free service platform, creating a unique communication method for employers and job seekers.

CCACC invited the first and second generations of successful Chinese entrepreneurs, as well as professional managers from international companies such as TSMC and Foxconn, provided two career development workshop seminars for job seekers on Sep 30 and Oct 01. How to apply for a job in the future and how to strengthen your professional background to prepare for the job search process were the main topics of the workshops.
