About the Club

Tze Nun Chi Kung is one of the two chi kung schools approved by the Chinese government. It was founded by Master Pang Hemin, a medical doctor trained in both Western and traditional Chinese medicine. Based on his experience in practicing martial arts for the past few decades as well as his knowledge in Chinese medicine, he has developed a set of exercises that will enhance the immune system and help delay aging. Every movement in chi kung aims to enhance a part of the body; it emphasizes movement making it different from meditation. In addition to health advantages, it’s easy to learn and practice.

The Instructor

Ms. Angela Kwok has practiced chi kung for several years. She suffered severe back pain due to a car accident and childhood fall and was reluctant to accept the doctor’s recommendation for back surgery, so she turned to Chinese medicine. Unfortunately, her situation did not improved. That’s when someone started teaching her Tze Nun Chi Kung, and after practicing for two months, she felt improvement. After two years of practicing her back pain disappeared along with other problems, such as sleep disorder, gastralgia, and neurasthenia. As a result, she went to Qinhuangdao learning center to study and receive a certificate for senior instructor and Chinese herb doctor, and she returned to DC to continue teaching Tze Nun Chi Kung.
