4.29.2021 報稅人感謝CCACC 2021 VITA 線上免費報稅服務
在過去一年多持續的疫情下，美京華人活動中心（CCACC）的各部門皆不曾打烊，未減少或暫停各種社區服務和活動，相反的，因時制宜，順時而變，提供並擴大更多元的社區服務，CCACC免費報稅服務(VITA)項目即是其中一項。
作為中心堅持服務社區的代表項目之一，今年的疫情造成大不相同的局面。在200個中低收入家庭的稅務諮詢或電子報稅的服務中，1/2是來自AARP、蒙郡VITA及國稅局轉介的會員或社區居民。非華裔人口包括白人、西班牙裔、非裔、中東、印度、韓國、東南亞、德國及日本等族裔的居民。這是一個非常大的轉變，CCACC樂觀面對，不分族裔，平等接待。
義工們付出的愛心與辛勞，受惠的每一位報稅人都銘記在心。幾位報稅人寫下他們對CCACC 的服務及幫助他們的義工的感言。雖然沒有華麗的文字，也無法當面致謝，但每一個報稅人都發自內心地期盼用文字傳遞他們的感謝之情。

感謝 CCACC 社區服務中心提供每年的重點活動之一：免費報稅服務。今年由於疫情關係, 所以 CCACC 採用 ZOOM 和 WHAT’S APP 線上為會員及社群服務. 我們在此十分感謝 CCACC免費報稅服務站的工作人員，熱心公益的專業義工們以及他們無私的貢獻及付出。義工們在報稅表上, 清楚的解釋及說明各項需求, 精簡的解說, 讓報稅者得悉所有的權利和義務等相關問題。

Since February 12, 2021 I tried to get an appointment, it was impossible, I cannot do virtual then somebody gave me the telephone number from Chinese Cultural Community Service Center in Gaithersburg. This is I got an appointment and my taxes done. I picked my return up today April 9, 2021. I’m very happy the way I was treated and got quick appointment. I can recommend this to everybody.

自2021年2月12日開始，我開始給我原先服務機構打電話預約報稅事宜，但是一直打不通，而且我也不懂如何操作線上報稅。後來，有人把美京華人活動中心CCACC的電話給我，我順利得到預約並完成了報稅。我於2021年4月9日取回了稅表。我很開心得到了CCACC的接待和高效率的服務。我向所有人推薦這個服務項目。

我不知如何表達感謝才好！往年都是女兒幫我報稅，今年因故已遲。不意雪上加霜，女兒突然回國，又節外生枝，歸期延宕。我正手足無措之際，好心人說試向中心免費報稅求助。經聯繫，王女士沒埋怨我愚鈍過遲，而是熱情受理，乾淨利落幫我報了稅。如釋重負的我，這才回過神來感受到中心免費報稅，急人所急，扶危解困的重大社會意義。在談疫色變，人人自危情勢下，免費報稅仍向社會開放，正謂事急節乃現。免費報稅及時雨義舉，彌彰雪中送碳，鳳毛麟角之可貴與稀有；將士用命，更顯統帥部之領導團隊服務社區的決心！
