Senior Nutrition Program

Senior Nutrition Program is another senior service provided by CCACC. The purpose is to provide a healthy and nutritious lunch (or dinner) for seniors and attract them to participate in various activities and an opportunity to socialize with other seniors at the site. In addition, this program also provides regular health and nutrition seminars to educate them for a better understanding of the importance of healthy intake at all time as well as other health issues.
Participants have to be Montgomery County residents age 60 years or older who participate in the senior activities at that site. Lunch is prepared by the local Chinese restaurant. They have to meet the nutrition and health requirements set by the county. This program is partially supported by the County. The remaining cost is supported by the donations from the participants or other sources.
This program is available in all CCACC Evergreen Centers and most of the senior activity events.
