Garden Club

Description: CCACC Garden Club is established to promote the Chinese style floral arrangement, penjing growing and general knowledge of home gardening.

Schedule: Every Second Saturday of the month afternoon 2:30pm-4:30pm at CCACC Headquarters (9366 Gaither Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20877). Members will get together for classes, to plan club activities, exchange gardening experiences and swap plants or seeds.
 
Classes: Classes include lessons on floral arrangements; penjing growing, styling, and maintenance; orchid growing, etc. There may be additional charges for some classes.  Free floral arrangement class is held occasionally, penjing class is held every second Saturday of the month. 
 
Seminars, Workshops and Field trips: Seminars and workshops are formed on specific topics. Trips to local garden shows and nurseries will be arranged if there is enough interest from members.
Display and Exhibition: Garden Club will represent CCACC in providing floral arrangement demonstration and shows, penjing display and demonstration at many special events and occasions.
 
Instructors:   Chia-Ming Phua, penjing instructor.
 
Membership: Garden Club membership is open to all CCACC members and the general public with no restrictions.  Membership fee of $10 per year and some training class charges are additional.
 
Activity Schedule: Activities will be announced in the CCACC website and the Garden Club group email list.
